DJ ScooterMan isn’t just spinning records — he’s spinning decades of musical history. His sets are a journey through time, where each vinyl record is a portal to a different era of sound, culture, and rhythm.

DJ ScooterMan is ready for hire for your wedding, party or function.

DJ ScooterMan is based in Sydney. He has been collecting vinyl records all of his life. His collection encompasses sounds from the 1950s through to the present day.

There’s plenty of classic 60s music, a good smattering of soul and disco and lots of English punk and post punk from the 1970s and 1980s. He also has a big collection of music from the 1990s with a special emphasis on the Manchester sound. The 21st century hasn’t been forgotten with music by Beyonce, Daft Punk, Alt J and heaps more.

In more recent times, DJ ScooterMan has started to collect French music from the 1960s. The sounds of Jacques DuTronc, Jacqueline Taieb, France Gall and lots more will give your party or function a Gallic edge.

For the past 18 months, DJ ScooterMan has been hosting Loaded on 99.3 Northside FM in Sydney. He plays a diverse collection of music on Wednesday evenings from 7pm.

    The Music

    Feel free to contact me in the lead up to your event to discuss the music you would like to hear. I have over 1500 vinyl records and all of them are in very good+ condition or better as per Discogs rating scale. I’m happy to put together a playlist with your consultation, I’m equally able to take sole responsibility for curation of your event. On the day, I’ll gladly take requests from my collection.

    Spotify

    Unfortunately I don’t have every song you might like to hear on vinyl. However I do have a Premium Spotify account which I can easily run through my system. Whilst I guarantee my set will be almost exclusively vinyl, Spotify can help fill the gaps. It’s great for requests.

    The Equipment

    Whilst my vinyl collection has a heavy retro influence, my gear is all very current and in excellent condition. I have two Pioneer DJ PLX 500 direct drive turntables, a Pioneer DJ DM250MK2 mixer and Yamaha PA speakers. I’ll also bring along a spare mixer and lights

    Getting it Right

    I will arrive at least an hour before your event commences to do a sound check. I don’t charge for this part of the service. I’m happy to come to the venue before the event if you need me to check on access issues and the best place to set up. I will charge a 1 hour fee for this service.
    I carry $20 million in public liability insurance.
